​Day 14: Pouring Glop

Had a request made a while back about recording parts of the carbon transfer process. While it's a little hard to pull off, here's a quick video demonstrating how I pour glop to make carbon tissues:

Just a few tech specs about the video above; I'm pouring 130ml of 0.8% lamp black glop onto an ​~9x11" area on a 10x12" piece of fixed-out x-ray film. The film is wetted and squeegeed to a piece of plated steel and masked off with cut pieces of adhesive magnetic strip.

Thicker tissues means more drying time, so it'll be a few more days before there are any more results updates. See you then!​
