Kitty Todd

In the heart of the Oak Openings of Lucas County Ohio, Kitty Todd is one of the few state nature preserves I'd been to long before starting this project. In fact, this is the first preserve I had visited anywhere. It's located only a couple of miles from my childhood home, and was visited by bike on several occasions. There aren't any giant rock faces or gorgeous waterfalls, but there is a large, open meadow that sings in the late afternoon light.
